NCHA Hires Marketing Director

The Fort Worth resident assumed her new role June 18 after having served the horse industry as a marketing and strategic planning consultant the past 12 years through her agency, Latigo Associates. She brings more than 20 years experience to the equine industry, developing programs and promotional plans for some of the most respected organizations in the industry.
Her range of experience includes work with mainstream organizations, such as the American Quarter Horse Association, American Association of Equine Practitioners, the American Paint Horse Association and Texas A&M University, among others, to playing a vital role in the marketing and publicity of some of the most talked about events in the industry, including the Mustang Heritage Foundation’s Extreme Mustang Makeover and the World Championship of Colt Starting, Road to the Horse. Bryant also has excelled in assisting industry groups in defining growth strategies, sponsor relationships and market development opportunities, including the launch of Texas A&M’s Center for Equine Business Studies, the World Conformation Horse Association and the re-structuring of the United States Team Penning Association.
“Having Julie join our team is a step in a process to bringing the National Cutting Horse Association into another exciting chapter in it’s future,” said NCHA Executive Director Alan Steen. “I fully expect Julie will be a tremendous asset in assisting the NCHA Executive Committee and me in positioning NCHA as a true leader in not only equine sport, but as an attractive choice of sport and family activities in general for those who enjoy the western lifestyle.”
Bryant is a graduate of Texas Tech University and is married to Steve, a Duncanville, Texas, firefighter and business owner.
