While numerous items were presented for business, the big news was the
election of the new board of directors and the appointment of the Executive

Former Rules Committee Chairman Kathy Gould, Raymond, Calif., was
elected to the president’s position. “I have had the wonderful opportunity
to serve on the NRCHA board and Executive Committee with Lyn Anderson. She
has had such a positive impact on the reined cow horse industry, and is a
great advocate for the NRCHA,” noted Gould, a former NRCHA Snaffle Bit
Futurity Non-Pro Champion.

“This will be a very exciting year for the NRCHA.We are planning some big announcements during the 2010 NRCHA Fort Dodge Animal Health Celebration of Champions and are looking forward to making this great association even better.”

Joining Gould are returning officers; Vice President Howard Erenberg,
Santa Ynez, Calif.; Secretary Carol Rose, Gainesville, Texas; and Dave
Archer, Clovis, Calif. as treasurer.

Jon Roeser, Lemoore, Calif., will return as Executive Committee member
